Traffic light control

This program represents a complete traffic light control system for two directions (north-south and east-west). Pedestrian requests for both directions are also integrated. An emergency stop ensures switching to the safe "All Red" state.

Available both as an SCL block and as an FUP variant for easy integration into different programming styles.

Note: All modules serve solely as a learning and optimization basis and are not approved for live operation. Plant modules, in particular, must be reviewed and approved by qualified personnel before productive use.

The traffic light phases follow the classic sequence: red → yellow → green → yellow → red . Depending on the request from pedestrians or detectors, the corresponding phases are activated automatically.

A clearly defined procedure is stored in the code for each situation. Pedestrians receive a separate, safe green phase—while all other signals remain red.

When the emergency stop is activated, the control immediately switches back to the safe basic state “All Red” .
