Description
You're looking for a compact SCL function block that monitors up to four parking or storage spaces, counts occupied parking spaces, and controls traffic lights and LED indicators for free and occupied. Fully occupied states are detected as errors and acknowledged with a reset. Ready for immediate use in the Siemens TIA Portal.

Note: All modules are designed exclusively as a learning and optimization basis and are not approved for live operation. System modules, in particular, must be finally tested and commissioned by qualified personnel before productive use.

How it works

  1. Priority emergency stop test: When activated, all enable indicators are off, red light is on, alarm flag is set
  2. Occupancy count: Four individual queries sum up occupied places
  3. Capacity calculation: Free places = 4 – occupied places
  4. “Free” indicator: If the free LED and green traffic light are lit, at least one space is free
  5. “Occupied” indication: If the occupied LED and red traffic light are lit when there is no free space
  6. Full occupancy: All four inputs occupied → error flag and continuous alarm until reset

• TRUE/FALSE signals for external traffic light and LED systems
• Error detection when all four places are permanently occupied with a separate alarm flag
• Reset signal resets error flag regardless of occupancy
