Description
This compact functional module controls an electric roller shutter door with OPEN/CLOSE buttons, light barrier monitoring, emergency stop safety shutdown and automatic closing function after an adjustable delay.

Note: All modules are designed exclusively as a learning and optimization basis and are not approved for live operation. System modules, in particular, must be finally tested and commissioned by qualified personnel before productive use.

How it works

  1. Emergency stop active → Motor_OPEN, Motor_CLOSE and warning signal immediately off, set alarm flag
  2. Step 0 (idle state) → waits for OPEN or CLOSE button
  3. OPEN button pressed → Motor_OPEN moves to limit switch_OPEN, stops, Timer_AutoCLOSE starts
  4. Hold-open phase → Gate remains open while the light barrier is clear and the timer is running
  5. Timer expired or CLOSE button pressed → Motor_CLOSE moves to limit switch_CLOSE
  6. During closing movement → warning signal on when obstacle is detected, goes out at end position

Technical details
• Emergency stop input with highest priority → deactivates motors and warning signal immediately
• Four-stage FSM: 0 = Rest, 1 = Open, 2 = Hold-open phase, 3 = Closing run
• Limit switch_OPEN/ Limit switch_CLOSED stop the respective movement
• TON timer (Timer_AutoZU) with PT=AutoZU_Time for delay
• Inputs: Button_OPEN, Button_CLOSE, Light barrier, Limit switch_OPEN, Limit switch_CLOSE, Emergency stop
• Outputs: Motor_OPEN, Motor_CLOSE, Warning signal, Alarm, Display_OPEN, Display_CLOSE
