Fire protection control with smoke detector
Couldn't load pickup availability
Description
You're looking for an SCL function block (FB_Fire Protection Control) that responds to smoke or manual fire alarms, releases all escape doors, shuts off the ventilation, and issues alarm messages to the HMI or fire department. Ready for immediate use in the Siemens TIA Portal.
Note: All modules are designed exclusively as a learning and optimization basis and are not approved for live operation. System modules, in particular, must be finally tested and commissioned by qualified personnel before productive use.
How it works
- Smoke or manual alarm message detected → set internal fire status
- Activate alarm, door release, ventilation shutdown, flashing light and HMI/fire brigade message
- Acknowledgement only possible if there is no longer a fire alarm
- After pressing the acknowledge button and system reset → reset all outputs, system ready for operation
