Description
The function block FB_EcoModus automatically switches to an energy-saving Eco mode after a defined idle time and automatically returns to full load operation when operation is required again.
Ideal for training, further education and plant planning!
Note: All modules are designed exclusively as a learning and optimization basis and are not approved for live operation. System modules, in particular, must be finally tested and commissioned by qualified personnel before productive use.
How it works
Timer start
As soon as there is no BetriebAnforderung
and the block is active, a TON timer ( LeerlaufTimer
) starts.
Activate Eco mode
If the timer reaches the set LeerlaufLimit
time, the following happens:
- The
Sollfrequenz
is set toFrequenzEco
-
ImEcoModus
is set toTRUE
- The
StatusText
shows “Eco mode active”
Return to full load
If an BetriebAnforderung
is detected again during this time:
- The timer is stopped
- The target frequency jumps back to
FrequenzMax
-
ImEcoModus
is deactivated - The
StatusText
shows “Full operation active”
Idle test running
As long as the timer is running but is still below the idle limit, the system remains in transition with FrequenzMax
and the status "Idle check in progress".
Module deactivated
If the block is not active, the control is completely deactivated, FrequenzSoll
is set to 0 and the timer is reset.
