Description
The star-delta start controls a motor using the star-delta starting method and reliably protects against uncontrolled restarts when stopping.
Note: All modules are designed exclusively as a learning and optimization basis and are not approved for live operation. System modules, in particular, must be finally tested and commissioned by qualified personnel before productive use.
How it works
Start star phase
After the Start signal is activated, MotorEin is switched on and the star contactor closes, while the delta contactor remains open.
Switch timer
A TON timer ( SternTimer ) with PT = Umschaltzeit starts as soon as SternSchütz is active.
Change to triangle
After the timer expires: star contactor opens, delta contactor closes automatically.
Stop function
At the Stop signal: MotorEin is reset, both contactors are opened, SternTimer.IN is deactivated and PT is reset to the start value.
