Description
The FB_DelayRelayTON function block combines a switch-on delay (TON) with NO/NC contacts for main and auxiliary circuits. It supports reset, deactivation, and a simulation mode, detects invalid operating states, and ensures that outputs are only switched after the specified delay time has elapsed.
Note: This module is designed as a template. Before use in real systems, it must be integrated, tested, and approved by qualified personnel. Incorrect integration may lead to unexpected behavior.
How it works
Reset
Clears all outputs, resets the time, and turns off the timer. Errors are cleared.
Disabled
If the block is not activated, all outputs remain off, the time is reset and an error is reported.
simulation
The delay logic runs in a simulated manner. The output behaves as if the timer has completed, without affecting any real actuators. The status and diagnostic code indicate simulation operation.
Normal operation
The TON timer processes the input signal. After the preset time has elapsed, the NO/NC contacts are switched accordingly. The current elapsed time is displayed, and errors are reset.
